About Jasna

I grew up in an artistic family where working with metal was part of everyday life. I later studied glass at UMPRUM, completed an internship in Israel, and studied industrial design in Barcelona. During my studies, I began focusing on light objects — I have always been drawn to the way light reshapes a space and alters its atmosphere.

Paper attracted me for its fragility, sustainability, and its ability to carry a tangible fragment of nature. I see myself as a contemporary gatherer — combining high-tech processes with handcraft while staying closely connected to natural materials and their origins. The result is locally produced, environmentally conscious work grounded in material and process.

My Technology

As a designer, I focus on interior lighting made from natural materials — leaves, flowers, orange peel, and pine needles. My work connects environmental design with material innovation.

I have developed my own method that allows subtle folding lines and small perforations to be formed directly within the paper sheet. This makes it possible to shape the lamp without additional cutting or laser processing. The production process is therefore efficient, low-waste, and respectful of the material.

I also work with custom 3D-printed tools, designed specifically for the needs of each individual collection.

Custom Solutions

I offer bespoke lighting solutions for distinctive spaces. From the initial concept to final installation, the entire process is managed in collaboration with a trusted team of electricians.

Workshops

I organize workshops for the public as well as tailored formats — from parent & child sessions to advanced masterclasses.

Courses are designed for groups of up to 10 participants and can be prepared as accompanying programs for festivals, cultural institutions, companies, or team-building events.

Would you like to host a workshop independently? A lantern kit with access to a video tutorial is also available, allowing you to lead the session on your own.
